Originally funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Multicultural Arts Initiative project has indexed the treasured arts of the New American Community.

Thinkin' Lincoln

Lincoln Arts Council partnered with 26 arts organizations during the summer of 2008, highlighting arts events for those traveling to Lincoln.  Thinkin' Lincoln, funded in part by Nebraska Department of Tourism, was a great marketing campaign that increased audiences. 

Stories of Home

During the Lincoln Arts Council's second large public art project, Stories of Home, artists created pieces of art that represented the unique stories of 12 local families.  

Tour 'de Lincoln

It was a summer filled with community activities as 71 Tour ‘de Lincoln bike sculptures were on exhibit in Lincoln, in parks, along bike paths, at businesses, and at private residences.
