This exciting Hands-on Papermaking Workshop will introduce participants to the medium of handmade paper (HMP). Both traditional and new approaches will be explored for sheet forming, pulp painting, stencil use and watermarks.  Explore shapes, designs, images, inclusions into and onto the wet pulp with sheet forming and working onto base sheets. Everyone will have a hands-on experience, wet fun and challenge, for development and personal expression. Wear non-skid shoes and clothes that can get wet!  Paper made during the workshop will have to dry for several days in the drying system, and then can be picked up at the Haydon Art Center one week later.   Workshop is suitable for all ages, and families.

This workshop is free and open to the public

Special Thanks

In 2009 the Lincoln Arts Council received a generous gift from the estate of Ken Good, a portion of which was used to redevelop our website and establish an endowment. We offer our heart-felt thanks to Kenneth J. Good for his generosity and vision for a beautiful future.
