2010 Lincoln Arts Festival

Now in its 10th year this premiere juried show is looked forward to each year by residents of Lincoln, NE and the surrounding  region.  A unique mix of prime location, discriminating clientele and a celebratory atmosphere combine to create a true “can’t miss it” event.  This year’s event will be on Saturday, September 25 from 10am – 6pm and on Sunday, September 26 from 10am – 5pm at SouthPointe Pavilions.

The festival is home to fabulous works of art for purchase and perusal, amazing live music acts to enliven your senses along with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere complete with children’s activities, food and raffle prizes including two round trip tickets to Chicago on Amtrak with a free two night stay at the Downtown Holiday Inn once you're there.

Patron Program Information

With just a $125 advanced donation you’re on your way to falling for the arts, as a Patron Sponsor. In return you will receive: 

  • $100 worth of Art Money to spend at the festival held September 25th and 26th at SouthPointe Pavillions Shopping Center.
  • An invitation to the exclusive Patron Sponsor breakfast held September 25th at 9:30 am. This must-attend event comes complete with a delightful breakfast sponsored by Panera, enchanting live music, door prizes you'll absolutely fall for and supreme socializing with some of Lincoln's best-known art lovers!
  • The pride of $25 of your donation benefiting the Lincoln Arts Council, who provides our community with not only the Arts Festival but countless other public art projects, artist support programs and education.

Youth Activities

This year’s festival will include an interactive youth activities center full of fun and surprises for your budding artists. Children will have the chance to create a refrigerator masterpiece or a great surprise for grandma.  Jim King will also be on site again this year with his popular songs and games, for the young and young at heart. Barnes and Noble will also be hosting an activity inside their store. The kid’s interactive center is generously supported by the Kinder Porter Scott Family Foundation.

Entertainment

A fine lineup of musicians will provide toe-tapping entertainment in the Noah Scape Entertainment Pavilion.

Volunteer

Holding an event with 15,000 people attending is not a small feat. We’d love to have your help. We can match you interests with a variety of volunteer opportunities that include setup and tear down, artist and sponsor hospitality, children’s activity assistant, raffle ticket seller, and general hosts for the Festival.

Calling all artists! The Lincoln Arts Festival is currently looking for artists to be juried into the 2010 Festival. Log on to Zapplication.org  by May 14th to apply. This is one Festival you don’t want to miss.
