Artist Bio

Jay Wennersten has been a full-time artist for the past 35 years. He specializes in Printmaking; aquatint, drypoint, multi-plate and photographic etchings, as well as serigraphy. Wennersten has participated in aprox. 35 shows per year for the past 30 years. His work is displayed in many private and public collections. Wennersten also enjoys teaching etching at the community and junior college levels.

Artist Statement

Printmaking: Original drypoint, aquatint and photographic etchings, which have been hand etched and hand printed off copper plates. Note delicate detail. I have 25 years of printmaking experience. Hand-pulled original serigraphy, Hand printed light to dark. Museum quality papers and inks.
