My name is Paulie Ohnstad from Denver, Colorado, & I'm a fiber artist. I create unique, one-of-a-kind handbags. As a child, my grandmother taught me to quilt & I wanted to bring that medium into the 21st century. Many of my bags are designed & based on quilting techniques.
Artist Statement:
Each Poluschka handbag is a unique, one-of-a-kind combination of fabric, color, texture and trim. All fabrics are reinforced and/or interfaced so as to represent durable, functional works of art. Every bag has its own special size, materials, shape and dimensions. Prices vary and are based upon fabric and construction components. They range from $50 to $150 per handbag.
