Artist Bio:

I am originally from Minnesota: I have lived in Maryville, MO since 1975. While trained as a sculptor, my work over the past 35 years has mostly involved one of kind furniture. In recent years, including lathe-turned elements in my work has evolved into my current interest in lidded vessels and boxes some including fabricated and carved elements. I try, in all of my work, to allow the inherent character, beauty and warmth of the wood to express itself.

Artist Statement:

Lidded vessels and boxes fabricated from turned wood and combined with other turned or carved elements.
