Artist Bio:

I was born and raised outside Lincoln. After graduation high school I traveled around the country and some internationally. For the past six years I've been in Lincoln. I work at Dish where I have been able to establish a client base for my jewelry. I come from an artist family and fell into jewelry. I've always had a passion for metal and fashion so I decided to teach myself how to metal smith. I worked with Sydney Lynch as a studio assistant where she taught me to solder. My work is very raw, mechanical and fun. I am inspired by Tim Burton, Albert Paley and Alexander McQueen.

Artist Statement:

In creating my pieces I use mainly copper, sterling and brass. I use all sorts of metal techniques such as soldering, cold connection, repousse, forging and many more. I handcraft every piece of jewelry and all are one of a kind. When I'm finished with an item I oxidize them to give them a more rustic look and them each piece is named to give personality.
