Artist Bio:

I was born an artist on the island of Haiti. I lived in Puerto Rico; Columbia; Peru, Mexico, Miami and now call Colorado Springs home. I have loved exploring the art of so many cultures.

I work in many mediums with my main thrust being one-of-a-kind beaded-on-fiber jewelry that I design for beauty, originality and comfort.

I approach each piece with new eyes and fresh feelings to create a sense of wonder and interest; and to express my joy of life. I am so grateful to earn my living as an artist.

Artist Statement:

All of my pieces are my originals and one-of-a-kind. I use fiber, gemstones, PMC, dichroic glass, a variety of glass beads, lamp-work beads, bone, fresh water pearls, silver, gold, bronze and natural materials. I bead-on-fiber, carve and cast, fire objects, form metal, paint and incorporate pen-and-ink miniatures.
