Artist Bio:

I enjoy everything natural and mechanical. My creations are botanical for the most part and made of steel. Earliest mentors were both artistic and visually impaired, that probably has an effect on the tactile qualities of my work. Current home is in Cole Camp MO.

Artist Statement:

My monochromatic steel designs define color through form. Beginning with a thorough study, proportion and shape to represent each creation is determined. After patterns are drawn, I cut them from steel and may detail with a grinder or sander. Parts are shrunk, stretched or pushed free hand into shape using novel methods and tools. Assembly is then completed on a solid or tubular stem by welding or bolting.
