Artist Bio:

Peggy Aebi born in Freeport Ill. in 1940 was raised in the arts by her mother who insisted that her children have some type of art or music background. Peggy played the oboe and was drawn into classical music at a very young age. When she reached adulthood she raised 4 children and ran a successful art wholesale business, with her husband being the artist. After the children were raised she was encouraged by her husband to pick up the paint brush and the rest is history. View her work for yourself. She loves the world of abstract and will transform the viewer into them.

Artist Statement:

Various inks combined with an alcohol base, then painted on art board, which has been framed, then the paintings are embellished with a alabaster like resin finished, which will draw the manipulated area's into itself, to create a field of depth that draws the viewer into the art piece. Each creation is an original painting, with no duplicates available.
