Lincoln Arts Council is a member of American for the Arts, which hosts a wonderful website with extensive research about the benefits of art education.

Young Audiences, Arts for Learning

Young Audiences Arts for Learning, founded in 1952, is the nation's leading source of arts-in-education services; their network includes 30 affiliates throughout the United States. Their mission and goal is to help make the arts an essential part of young people's education.

Arts Education Partnership Organization

Provides information and communication about current and emerging arts education policies. Their major activities include: commissioning and disseminating research about critical arts and education issues; maintaining and linking databases on state-level policies for arts education; and convening national forums around significant themes and issues in the field.

New Horizons for Learning Organization

New Horizons for Learning communicates and helps to implement successful educational strategies. Their website has many articles that discuss the importance of art education across many disciplines and subjects.
