The Athenian dancers are a Greek/Turkish style bellydance troupe specializing in cabaret and ethnic middle eastern styles of dance. The Athenian dancers are featured dancers at The Parthenon Greek Restaurant in Lincoln, as well as performing at local ethnic festivals and are also available for private events. Classes are available through the Athena Studio of World Dance.

This project is dedicated to the preservation of Hispanic Culture.
Through a select group of young leaders, Sangre Azteca Dancers bring an exciting cultural enrichment program to the community. Their goal is to increase the cultural awareness by providing enjoyable and significant educational performances and to expand the diversity of our audience.
The Sangre Azteca Dancers are dedicated to bringing to you a spectacular show that will entertain you and will provide a memorable experience.

The Lied Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility. The Lied Center is Nebraska's Home for the Arts. The facility offers major regional, national and international events designed to attract a statewide audience. It also provides opportunities for Nebraska artists to perform and a teaching/training laboratory for performing arts departments at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The Lincoln Irish Dancer's mission is to heighten awareness and appreciation of traditional Irish dance, and to celebrate Irish culture. They teach Irish dancing, perform, and sponsor a "ceili" (that's an Irish dance party!) which is always a lively event!!!

The Trade Wind Dancers are a Polynesian dance troupe featuring the dances of Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa and New Zealand. Our goal is to bring our love of Polynesian dance to the midwest. We strive to maintain the authenticity of the dance. The Trade Wind dancers perform at ethnic festivals throughout the state, as well as being available for private events. Classes are available through the Athena Studio of World Dance.

The Dance Program offers the BA Degree in Dance with comprehensive training in modern dance, including technique, improvisation and composition, augmented by ballet through the advanced level. Students study a balanced and integrated course load which combines dance with a strong liberal studies core. This program teaches the cultural, theatrical and performing aspects of dance. It emphasizes the development of working methods which are both safe and correct as it encourages students to explore and develop their personal artistry.
