    The Lied Center for Performing Arts is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility. The Lied Center is Nebraska's Home for the Arts. The facility offers major regional, national and international events designed to attract a statewide audience. It also provides opportunities for Nebraska artists to perform and a teaching/training laboratory for performing arts departments at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

    Lincoln Organ Showcase is a standing committee of the Lincoln Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Its purpose is to promote appreciation and enjoyment of the pipe organ and its literature. LOS co-sponsors concerts featuring the organ in Lincoln churches and institutions of higher education. The series also offers support for organ recitals within church-sponsored series, and strives to offer educational opportunities for young piano and organ students.

    The Nebraska Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is an independent, non-profit organization that funds programs that explore Nebraska's heritage, build community awareness and strengthen ties to cultural traditions at home and abroad. Created in 1973, the council is governed by a volunteer board of public and academic members.

    Nebraska Literary Heritage Association (NLHA) supports the Jane Pope Geske Heritage Room of Nebraska Authors with an endowment fund that is maintained through many volunteer projects. NLHA's efforts ensure that work toward preserving and promoting the work of Nebraska writers continues. These volunteer activities help Nebraska's literary tradition continue and grow:

    Polley Music Library is a music library featuring a circulating collection of music books, printed music, and compact discs, along with digital collections, non-circulating reference materials, and music magazines. The Polley Music Library answers music-related questions, and provides other services, such as tours and programs.
