"Dog Days of Summer...Due North"

9 Muses Studio9 Muses studio invites all of Lincoln out to our studio to view the popularly held-over art display of Les M's Paper Mache sculptures and the acrylic paintings of Joan Sangimino!  In addition to this, 9 Muses will be offering free hotdogs and goodies to all patrons and there will be a variety of performers, including a live guitarist, a juggler, various dancers,  and a drum circle which EVERYONE is invited to participate in! 

Come to the studio on August 6 to enjoy the fun and make the rounds at the other galleries during the Art Crawl!  Maps will be available at the studio. Bellydancers, there will be a swap table so bring the costume pieces you wish to trade!!!

Cathedral of Risen Christ Call for Artists

cathedral of risen christAs an outstanding Artist, you are cordially invited to submit your art for consideration in the 44th annual Cathedral Art Show and Sale, September 15-19, 2010. Last year was a very successful show. We had 68 artists, of which 23 were first time prsenters. Once again this will be a juried art show and an Art Committee will make the selections. Please submit a photograph of your work for the committee review. We will keep the photo on file, so we are not able to return the photo.

Summer Sing: From Darkness to Light

abendmusikDo you miss singing with your choir during the summer months? Do you long to be awakened from a summer of choral hibernation? Join Abendmusik for our First Annual series of community Summer Sings! There are no auditions or extensive commitments. Just come as you are at 7:30 on the evenings listed below and, within two hours, we will have shared in an energized rehearsal and an 'instant performance' of a great choral work. Music will be provided. Hospitality, refreshments, air-conditioning, and fun are all included-- FREE! No sign-up necessary. Just come ready to sing! Let Abendmusik cure your summertime choral blues!
