ARTSBlog by Beckie Enyeart - And so the time has come… The National Arts Program Exhibit time! Every year about this time Lincoln gets to see how creative The City of Lincoln employees and their families are!

As the coordinator of the program for the last two years I’ve loaded up the back of my car with so much artwork I think my vehicle has stretched. I didn’t know the amount of stuff I 've gotten in  there was possible.

Deadline for Kimmel Harding Nelson Center Residency is Sept. 1

Kimmel Harding  Nelson Center for the Arts

Deadline approaching… September 1, 2010.  The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, Nebraska City, NE offers 2- to 8-week residencies for writers, visual artists, and music composers. Housing, studio space, $100/week stipend. Approximately 50 residencies awarded per year. Two deadlines each year: postmarked March 1 for the following July - December 15; postmarked September 1 for the following January-June 15.  There is a $25 application fee.
