Drawing the Line at 20 is the Haydon Art Center’s annual fundraiser. The event will showcase a silent auction of artworks from 20 well known and loved artists, as well as elegant hor dourves, drinks and music. The event will take place on Thursday, May 27th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Haydon Art Center, 335 N. 8th St., and promises to be an evening full of wonderful artwork, music and fun.
Artwork will be exhibited May 24- 27 at HAC and Online at www.HaydonArtCenter.org. Silent Art Auction and Buy-It-Now Option begin May 27, 11:00 AM.
Tickets are $40/Member or $50/non-member per person and can be purchased by calling 402-475-5421.

Bluegrass concert and jam fundraiser. This will be an outdoor concert by local area Bluegrass bands. Held at 11500 S 25th Street, it begins with an period for open jamming by any interested musicians. Scheduled to perform are Shoestring Band, Acoustic Traditions, and Arbor Road. There will also be concessions on site and a raffle for various prizes.

"Bard of Blood" is a murder mystery comedy set at the Wildcat Theatre where Managing Artistic Director Bertrem Gantz has gathered a group of well-to-do donors for the theatre's fund-raiser, a night of scenes from Hamlet. Little does the crowd know that there is a murderer in their midst!? People drop like flies as killings are the order of the day.
Could the killer be Laurie Preston, the resident ingenue? Wayne Baggot, the leading man? Pete, the gloved stage manager? Everett, aged character actor? Dorothy, a seasoned actress? Doctor Hayes, a leading theatre donor or Bertram himself? Or maybe a member of the audience? It's up to Ms. Henrietta De Le Croix...a detective, to unravel the mystery to discover who committed the murders and why.
